What you need to do.
1. Write a research based report on the following question:-

2. WORD count = minimum 700 – maximum 1200.

3. All of the work submitted must be your own. Plagiarism or copying will be

dealt with as a very serious issue. Submission will be by ‘Turnitin’, a
computer system that looks for plagiarism. If your paper has a score of
30% or more it will receive a zero grade.

4. Structure the paper with:

• cover sheet with the school logo (copy and paste Page 3 from the
Cesar Ritz Style Guide, which is in e-learning and add the logo)

• Table of Contents (Word can do this automatically if you make your

headings ‘Heading 1’ on the ‘Home’ tab, then ‘References’ and
‘Table of Contents’)

• Introduction (to explain the purpose of this paper i.e. “The purpose

of this paper is to investigate whether or not the hotel industry can
help to ensure sustainable tourism and to reach a conclusion about
how this can be achieved. It includes information about……”

• Detail (for both sides of the argument)

• Conclusion (to summarise what you have found and your own

conclusion)

• Reference List (use Harvard referencing) –

• Is everything that you say based on fact? Ensure your use citations in your
essay.

(collect the references as you go along).

• Carry out a critical analysis which highlights both the benefits and
problems for the hospitality industry.

• Evaluate the evidence that you find: Is it likely to be true? Is it complete?
The whole story?

• How do customers feel now about tourism? Will they expect to pay more

or less money? Will they be more selective in their travel options?
