This study article provides that nurse burnout is a global issue with an undeniable increasing rate.  This leads to nurses leaving their jobs after gaining only a few years of experience.  The article explains that even though musings considered a stressful occupation, nurse burnout adds to this situation. The study also indicates that nurses prefer to keep their job even with many difficulties, high workload and burnouts since it is hard finding any other opportunities. Article 2 answer the PICOT question by identifying factors which causes burnout and burnout syndrome among nurses. The article identifies that despite the work stressors, issues such as social and family life, leisure activities, demographic characteristics, and personal health plays a part in nurse burnout syndrome. Understanding this helps to relate personal and professional life, which is crucial to answering the PICOT question.

Article 1 uses a quantitative research method, which uses a questionnaire as a data collection method. The questionnaires assessed burnout issues perspective by evaluating workload, turnover intention and job satisfaction for the nurses. Additionally, the methodology used a cross-sectional survey using simple random sampling using a sample of 190 nurses. The article used a correlational statistical procedure to explain the different variables for the research.  Article 2 used quantitative cross-sectional methods to assess burnout syndrome among 188 samples of nurses.  The methods collected data using a questionnaire to explain emotional exhaustion and underachievement based on burnout syndrome. Both of these methods are different in data analysis aspects, but they help to interpret information to explain nurse burnout clinical problem.

Article one used a quantitative method with a survey questionnaire to gather information. This was appropriate for this research as it provided in-depth information, which is crucial to understand the alarming cases of nursing burnout. Article 2 used a quantitative method with the cross-sectional survey to provide comprehensive information to explain the factors that result in burnout among nurses. The article imitation is the high cost for collecting data and difficulty when analyzing the massive information gathered.

This was reached based on different factors experienced by the nurses personally and in their work environment.  The article also identified factors such as emotion, personal and work stress, marital status, and the workload to aggravate the onset of burnout syndrome.
