Press Release 1
PRESS RELEASE 3
As the CEO, thus have been asked to provide different examples of country culturally and specific sensitive initiatives which the company will be taking to remedy the situation, thus improving the company image in the international stakeholder’s eyes, different aspects have to be adhered to. Nonetheless, this case entails three issues which are broadly discussed, and they include: to develop a marketing plan for the US markets to re-install a company’s brand value, the supply chain is streamlined, and steps to be taken to reduce malpractice with international partners in China and India. I will take concrete initiative below to answer the above questions as the Chief Supply Chain Officer and the policy statement for our Board of Directors and other stakeholders. Firstly, I would link to all supply chain partners and repeat the company’s goals. I will also expand a relationship-focused more on an effective supply chain partnership with the business (Sheth, 2011). I will as well, therefore, change the pay and payment system to complement the partnership. This helps us restore the company’s confidence in both upstream and downstream supply chain partners.
The next move is personal visits to China and India with views on cotton producers and labor practices. Also, as the CEO with the team will affiliate with some well-known local NGOs in China and India locally (Bretherton & Carswell, 2001). All these will also ensure that the supply of raw material is preserved and that such best practices are implemented in the first place (Suryaningrat, 2016). Our next move is to connect with some American journalists and invite them to cover our news. We will not influence this issue, but we will only give them the requisite details to cover the simple truth. This would communicate our position on our company’s policies and help us develop our empathy and concern for society. In this way, we want to deal with all the issues involved and make an exhaustive comment on the supply chain strategy.
