What are the sporting event you managed/ chairman of the board director of AL-WEHDA club(ksa).

1- What are the main daily tasks you are keen to use in your practical (sports) field?

 My main daily tasks are to follow up the workflow in all administrative departments, the technical preparations of the club ,which includes the football teams and other (various)sports’ games, and the club’s daily training , I also check the daily correspondence (mails) received from the Executive Management, and finally check the application of the code of conduct in reality and the strategic items created by the Club . 

2- What do you like/dislike about managing the sporting events that you see nowadays in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?

What I like in managing the sports events is the generous support which I had from the wise leadership (command) in a critical point in the history of the Saudi sport , this support can be described as an unprecedented in the sport history ever , and it’s results were positive , according to the huge amount of money paid for the sake of returning the Saudi sport to it’s pioneer position in Gulf area and internationally , and this appears in organising international sports’ events.

3- What are the quality standards of a sports event accounted for to show if it was a success or failure?

One of the success factors , to make a successful sports event , is to be creative and stay away from traditional things ; and this creativity should be inspired from the culture of the Host Country , and it should be made by the countrymen , to live in everyone’s memory 
Another success factor is to select a good working group who can establish rules and foundations to create a sports event that keep promises and meet the requirements, and put all possible scenarios as an advance plan which depends on flexibility and provides alternative plans in case of any changes of circumstances during the championship 

4- having the local sports events in mind, What do you think of the local risk management skills?

 Good , but I think it needs to be more advanced and to emulate the international standards in I this concern ( point )

5- What is your visualization of leadership skills (leadership management) as used in sporting events?

Maybe it’s an art , as it needs aptitudes , talents and leadership skills to be in the persona of the sports event’s manager , and on the other hand I can say that it’s a science, as they’re taught and awarded ( granted )certifications , so there is no thing to outbalance one of the prospects, 
what make me say that it’s a combination of both art and science.

6-What is your point of view and perception of control & costing skills as used in sporting events according to your experience in this field:

I think it’s possible to make sports’ events with lower cost , and this needs a creative and experience working groups that can balance between works and costs .

7- What is your point of view and pictures of scheduling skill (scheduling skills) as used in sporting events and competitions according to your experience in this field:

 In my opinion it’s good , because it takes into account the ( time) temporal and spatial dimension .

8- In general, what is your opinion on the events that took place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:

In the era of the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques , Saudi Arabia has been a magnet of international sports’ events , and I think it’s just the beginning and many drops make a flood , so it’s generally good and I think it keepsdeveloping

9- What are the main reasons and motivations that made you prefer entering the sports field over other fields?

My love to sports in general and football specially.
 

10-What are the skills that make you stand out as successful in the field of sports and sports competitions?

Flexibility , loving to learn , studying everything new , and making a good choice of the associated working group members.
 

11-Do you think that the success of sporting events depends on project management skills?

Of course, as I mentioned before the sports event is a combination of art and sport .
 

12- What are the most important skills that you acquired over experience in managing sporting events?

Listening to various opinions, focusing ( auditing) in choosing the working group , flexibility , and learning from mistakes.
 

13- What project skills do you need to make a sporting event successful?

Division of labour structure , good planning , supervision , controlling, and balancing between works and costs .
 

14-What is the activity that you will provide to the managers and officials of sporting events who are playing we see today in the public scene?

In addition to what I mentioned before ; good planning , division of labour structure , supervision, controlling and balancing between works and costs , I can add an innovation management
