2. A R Ω resistor, a L mH coil and a C uF capacitor are all connected in Series across a
V volt, F Hz AC supply. Calculate the total current drawn from the supply, the voltage
for each element, the total impedance of the circuit and the phase angle. (Use the
values given in the table) (5 Marks)
3. The current in an AC circuit is given by, i = Im sin (Bπt + X) Amp. Find (i) Time
period, (ii) Peak to peak value (iii) the RMS value of the current (iv) mean value, (v)
the value of the current when ‘t’ = A ms. (Use the values given in the table) (5 Marks)
