Introduction

When it comes to traveling, different people have different views about the safest methods to use. Some people will choose to travel by air, road, train, and ships. It depends on one’s preference and how one perceives different transport modes to be secure. This research explains whether it is safer to fly in a general aviation aircraft or travel in a United States car.

Background of topic

Over the years, people have been utilizing different ways to transport. The level of safety varies between each type of transport. Some are considered to be more secure as compared to others. In most cases, driving is more dangerous than flying in general aviation aircraft since the number of accidents that occur due to driving is numerous compared to those involved in flying. However, it is also fair to say that when a plane crashes, it is possible that everyone aboard is going to be injured, which is contrary to a car accident where the probability is fewer not everyone might get injured. Although plane accidents are rare and do not occur regularly, they tend to be fatal when they occur. Car accidents may be more but less fatal, although they may render the victims a permanent scar or injury.

Conclusion

Therefore, it is essential to note that any transport means can cause accidents, and it is difficult to predict which means will not get involved in such. However, the most important thing to consider is safety while traveling.

Recommendations

General aviation transportation is recommended since it takes a short period to reach a destination, and the accidents involved in the same are relatively few compared to road transport. This increases the chances of safety, especially when traveling to far destinations.
