PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS

You already have access to In-Play. I sent a link to you and you signed up. I can see you on the system.

You need to collect your own data by watching the matches on In-Play and tagging the KPI(s) that you have chosen.

It really isn’t that difficult.

If you access In-Play there are links to tutorial videos.

If you access the home/landing page you will see a menu on the left hand side. At the bottom there is a question mark.

If you click on the question mark it will take you to the support centre.

In the top left hand corner you will see that there is a link to tutorial videos

You need to watch videos 6,7,9 and 17 to do this analysis project. You can obviously look at the others too if you are interested.

With regard to completing a mini lit review you can go about this in two ways.

1) Decide on the KPI or KPIs that you want to look at. For example, if you decided you wanted to look at goal scoring opportunities that were conceded, you would then search for articles about that. Here is one I have found with a quick search. There are more.

OR

2) You could look into the literature first and then see what you find interesting. Maybe pick up a book about performance analysis and read a few chapters and see where it leads you. They often have reference lists at the end of the chapter.
