Football analysis is key in the sense that the team management will have a better way on how they will conduct the trainings. It is also essential in coming up with a detailed of each team player. With this, the other thing is to focus much on how the players will get to play. There potential will be analyzed while they are conducting the training. With this, it will be much easier to come up with a strong team that will representant the club. The team also needs to be aware on different ways on how they will support each other and ensure that they become one of the best teams. Key analysis is conducted with the aim of sharpening the players and making any changes within the team.
Introduction
Performance analysis is an objective approach to investigate a certain sport while documenting performance, in order to examine the performance of individuals and staff. the performance analysis allows the coach to learn the strengths and shortcomings of the person or team. In soccer, performance analysis is the major factor for coaches that define the success of a coach, its capacity to evaluate and its performance and the fix faults. This research consequently focuses on Reading FC performance analysis. It will get to detail different ways in how the club has will conduct its matches and how they will become one of the teams. The key thing is to ensure that the club becomes among the best and it will get to score better than other clubs.
The system of performance analysis may be characterized in a cycle procedure. This cycling method comprises performance, monitoring, analysis, interpretation, planning and training. The team information is captured in performance during a game or training session. Here, the data that has been captured in this is that when the team players are in actions and it shows how to perform under various circumstances. It gets to determine various ways on how the team players will be analysed and how well they will get to always perform. The strengths and shortcomings of the squad are observed. Video, statistics and notation pen and paper by the coach are used to observe this. It is one of the ways in which they will get to determine how the players are performing and what needs to be improved. The best thing is this case is to come up with a framework that will help the team become among the best. They also want to ensure that the team members of the club are doing their best to ensure that they train well through the help of the coaches and they get to have the best scores. Video, statistics, script and paper are excellent, as most coaches can’t remember all he’s seen. Analysis is the next phase in the cycle. Due to the technological improvement, the analysis is now performance analysis software. Performance analysis is the most complicated procedure, as it entails editing films, coding the game and creating a pattern. The performance analysis procedure is mostly allocated to someone by the coach and the final result is obtained. The data studied now need the coaches to interpret the data in order to draw up an appropriate strategy according to the strengths and weaknesses of the squad. The next step is to plan what to do in the following game. The coaches have to inform the squad about different things that need to be improved and where the strengths are and how they may be utilized in the game. The ultimate process is Process of preparation. The team now has the opportunity to implement the coach’s ideas to find out about progress in the training session Reeves & Roberts, (2013).
The most beneficial tool for coaches to detect and recall crucial occurrences was the Performance Analysis. This report consequently examines a young team’s performance. This remark is made by coaches in the form of video and notational documents.
Real-time feedback for the team and the individual is highly vital in a coaching process.
Analysis
With the rising professionalism and performance of contemporary football, a closer research of young football’s performance is needed. The key markers of performance are passage, inventiveness, shooting at goals, the player’s mindset, ball possession and control of balls. In a contemporary game, the labour of the team influences the performance of the team. In contemporary soccer, it is essential to maintain ball control and to deny the opponent of the ball while simultaneously attempting to generate room and opportunities for shooting the ball on target. All KPIs need to be examined to attain the high performance. The team must hold the ball in its control and pass the ball. Individually, the player needs a good mind and to be inventive to fight against the opponent Reeves & Roberts, (2013). Finally, the team has to win the game to score goals and to scoring. The coach may readily examine the squad by integrating all these. These essential indicators must be examined in detail for the success and progress of individuals and teams.
Data collecting method
The techniques utilized to gather data include input notation, paper, films and prior statistics for examining the performance. The notes the coach takes while watching the game are in the game paper notational pen and paper. This is vital since the coach cannot recall everything after the game. But that’s just what the coach sees and what is essential. Information and statistics may be obtained by viewing a previously recorded video game. The coach and the players may see the game here and deal with the weaknesses. Video-based data is significant because it enables the coach to capture situations that he has missed. Further analysis of video-based recording with performance-based software gives the genuine results the coach needs for me. Data from past matches are also utilized to determine the team’s trend and development.
The coach and coaching staff are provided with coaching questionnaires and are permitted to fill them out once the data has been analysed and the film of the last match has been seen. The trainer and three other coaches were sent the questionnaires and given some time to conclude on the basis of their analysis. A questionnaire is also sent to a dedicated young team supporter. The questionnaires are evaluated to provide the proportion of the results as a percentage. The analysis is carried out by another individual who then gives the coach the findings (Reeves & Roberts, 2013).
Discussion
The average overall outcome was considered in the analysis of the team. The statistics show plainly from the table that the squad has to enhance inventiveness, ball Possession and goal shooting. The passing team seems inadequate, and the strength of the squad resides in the ball possession and the players’ positive mindset. According to the KPIs, because of equally bad passing, the side has terrible ball possession. Without good and complete passes, the team cannot have greater possession. The squad also seem to be low in imagination and hence lack the possibility to shoot. Otherwise, the player’s mindset appears excellent, so improving their confidence and hence excellent ball control. This does not imply the player’s thinking is faultless, but much has to be improved.
Some of the key elements that are considered in this case include:
Parameters physical or physiological
The physical capacity of a player is a crucial performance analysis metric. certain teams travelled a larger distance at the pitch during other matches, but they did not win their matches. It thus suggests that other aspects besides the fitness of a player contribute to a team’s performance. Although some contributing elements to success or failure include considerable differences among players in successful and ineffective teams, a non-important variation in the composition and performance of the body of the athletes. Some of the physical aspects determining the success of a team are strength, power, and counter motion leaps. higher pass rates might have a direct influence on a team’s success. a football team classification was most determined by their physical and physiological performance. In particular, the determinant of match results, such as high speed
The rank of the club at the conclusion of the season shows how the players’ physical capability has an impact on the success of a steam. The distance completed on the track, however, does not count to the results. physical capacity is a measure of a team’s preparation to play. Similarly, the lack of readiness to participate or the lack of capacity for playing shows that injury to players will damage the team’s performance and ranking towards the conclusion of the season.
Analysis of Time Motion
Research shows that physical fitness may allow a player to cover longer distances notwithstanding the playing style. these results that a high-rate distance may be used to examine a certain soccer result since training is directly related to physical performance. However, it was revealed that time-motion analysis parameters dependent on various other match analytical elements, including ball control, score line, and opponent . This means, though, that time-motion settings may not be the optimum signal for soccer/performance analyses.
Technical Settings
Just like football analysis’ physical characteristics, technical parameters / scoring parameters are vital instruments for performance analysis since settings such as shots on a target are simple to quantify and dependable. Carling et al. a positive link existed between scored / granted goals and football success. However, Reeves & Roberts, (2013). found no apparent connection between target shots. And the game result. Reeves & Roberts, (2013). have as it happens separated the study into photographs, tacks and passes.
Amount of passes
As Wright, Carling & Collins (2014). note, the total number of passes completed, and net play time trials are crucial markers for improved performance. In Austria, for instance, football provided a team a higher chance of scoring goals compared with short sequences.
Pass type
Wright, Carling & Collins (2014). found that pass types are not an effective football analytic indicator. However, the match results for other teams showed that the range of passes contributed to their success. The types of shots and passes provide teams successful possibilities of confusing them or becoming unpredictable and shooting more often. In their investigation also discovered that successful teams employed chips and crosses more frequently than failed ones.
Transitions to certain sections
deeper penetration of the pit region and the 6-yard region improves the likelihood of more target shots and hence more scoring opportunities. non-successive teams are more likely to play their passes for defense, making it difficult for them to finish the passes for punishment.
Pass Precision
Undoubtedly, passion accuracy throughout a football match is a key indication of football performance. accuracy within five minutes of play related to a scoring of an early goal in most matches. It not only maintains ball possession with passing precision, but also raises the likelihood of scored while limiting the team of opponents to score and win.
Interception
Carling et al. (2014). did not uncover any evidence that interceptions are tools to analyze football and if the initiation was due to a player’s inability to transfer the ball to another teammate cannot be deduced. A big number of interceptions and few adversarial changes may assist a soccer team thrive in the game.
Lost or won tackles.
No considerable literature to illustrate if the attacks affect gained or lost performance. Although no major research shows a relation between tackles lost or won, the number of failures and struggles between low- and high-ranking teams was shown to be discriminatory. In addition, a minimum quantity of bags lost might have had a greater likelihood of losing the contest.
On/off-target shots
Research has shown that regardless of whether a team win or not, home teams are 26 percent more likely than the visiting team to have more shots, but success rates are not different from the other side. Nassis, (2013). points that a greater number of bullets target successful businesses and, more particular, a better quantity.
Shots by goal and low opportunities for the opponent to tackle the ball. The score position is also important for performance/soccer analysis.
Suggestions
The findings show that the club must devote more attention on strengthening its ability to pass. This is to enhance the possession of the ball more. The coach has to concentrate on developing players’ passing skills the most part of the time in a training session. More lessons should be held on passage and learning to hold the ball more. In this way, the squad will even strengthen the mental component of the game.
The coaching session should encourage the athlete to think and play more imaginatively to generate more opportunities. This gives the player a higher chance of scoring. It might be hard to teach the player for creativity, yet it is a key component of the game. The coach has to utilize strategies to defeat the opponents’ minds. The easiest method to achieve this is to do set-up routines. The coach needs to play more creatively in the latter third of the field to defeat the opponent’s defence. Training sessions should incorporate greater practice of shooting. According to Mackenzie & Cushion (2013)., a bad sequence and little shooting analysis certainly does not achieve any objective.
The coach should take all of this into account and should also urge them to maintain the spirit of excellent ball control and always have a strong positive game mind. The coaches must encourage and have confidence in the players to increase their mindset. This is done generally before the games. It is also crucial to allow an individual player to express themselves and to test new things in the game to increase their mind.
Conclusion
Listings analysis has assisted coaches in contemporary football coaching notably among young people who still grow in the game. The coaches have been supported by learning, player development and training planning. With technological innovation, gadgets may use a mechanism to gather data and provide correct data. These statistics are crucial since both the coach and the player can view them and study them jointly for the improvement of individual players and the team. In addition, performance analysis was acknowledged to be the most helpful tool for coaches to detect and recall crucial occurrences.
