Managing the client care/patient care experience
Hospital Administrator have to go to disgruntle family members about their care. The hospital admins responsibility is to figure out what is causing the patient to be upset and what are the ways to fix it whether it be getting in contact with the doctor. Changing the nurse, explaining visitation policy etc..
Ensuring an organization’s compliance with medical and legal regulations and internal policies
Making sure each unit is compliance with HIPPA and all other policies to protect the organization and its patients
Creation of an emergency plan for adverse events and unforeseen circumstances
Hospital Administration must have emergency teams in place in case of hurricanes, ice storms, or other emergencies that may cause a city to shut down. They create Emergency teams A and B that respond to national disaster and prepare to stay until they can be relieved from the other team. They Must store adequate supplies for the hospital in case of unforeseen shortages. All with the goal to deliver high quality patient care.
