Question:
You will in groups research a digital future topic area and provide a briefing to the rest of the class. It is suggested that you consider a brief history, explanation of benefits / drawbacks and give real examples where appropriate. The work should also be appropriately referenced using a range of sources (not just websites). Your areas to choose from are:
1) Digital transformation
2) Automation
3) Big data
4) AI
5) IoT (Internet of things)
What are we looking for?
It will be great prospect for students to pick organisation/industry and explain the following task:
1) Digital History (You can do this by making infographics or timeline as discussed in week 1).
2) Discuss the focus point of organisation for chosen area e.g.(Digital transformation and Digital Maturity level/AI/Automation/Robots/Big Data/Analytics/IoT). You can pick one or many areas according to best suited for that organisation/industry.
3) Competitors for that organisation/industry.
4) What recommendations /drawback for future technologies of that organisation.
We are looking at your approach to research, how you go about finding the information available, what sources of information you find, howyou use examples to back up your points, and how you then articulate this back to the group. You can also incorporate videos where appropriate to back up your points.
Presentation Format:
It should be in the format of ppt presentation. The time limit is 15 mins per group. The first slide clearly shows Group topic and Student names. All the students in group can present for different sections or one student from group can present and do A/Q as whole group. Once you all complete your presentation there is a link created in Tab Week 9 w. Only 1 presentation should be uploaded per group. Any one student can upload it not all of students per group. You will not get grades on the link. It’s for record purposes. All groups present their presentations during lecture and seminar session from week commencing 11 January 2021 and tutors will give feedback same as formative 1 Assessment.
