The main objective of AFSP is on saving lives and bringing hope to an individual affected by suicide. The organization has established a culture that smart concerning mental health through education, community programs and establish suicide prevention measures through funding and encouraging research and advocacy and by providing support to people affected by suicide (Mehta & Edwards, 2018). Therefore, the main objective of the AFSP is saving lives and giving hopes to people affected by suicide. The organization’s main strategies are funding scientific research, educating the community on suicide prevention, and mental health. Good!
The organization also campaigns for public guidelines in mental wellbeing and suicide prevention and support the suicide survivors and the families affected by suicide. The organization management understands that mental health does not discriminate.
