Capetillo was a feminist writer, and her work named “After Death” depicted the gender discrimination that had occurred to women in society. She, therefore, advocated for social justice and the need for equality. Therefore, if Capetillo lived today, she would argue that people of color should not be discriminated against in society. Furthermore, Capetillo would fight for the inferior groups’ rights by arguing all the people from diverse social groups should be allowed equal access to labor and public services and resources.
Play’s details
Capetillo did most of her work in Spanish. Therefore, this would be the case if she lived today. She would do the modern plays in Spanish. Furthermore, most of her plays were done in the U.S., for instance, “After death” in Florida. The modern plays would take place in the U.S. The characters of her Play will be the inferior groups in society. Presenting their agony from the social injustices practically in the Play would be vital for portraying her ideas.
Furthermore, her plays also would include the fortunate groups to present the common discrimination deeds in society today. The Play would be called: “Social Inequalities.” The presented topic would therefore cover most of the inequalities in society today.
