Owning a fast-food restaurant is one of the best business ideas that can help make profits. This kind of business is most preferable in many areas, especially near institutions such as companies and schools. It is a business that provides quick food services and that’s why people (customers) like it. When setting up a fast-food restaurant it is always appropriate to consider the target market, ongoing costs, types of foods to sell, and their charges. There are many fast-food restaurants including McDonald’s, KFC, Subway, and Starbucks, among others.

The type of business I would like to create is fast healthy foods. Food prices, the types of foods I offer, the number of employees, and my operation bases are some elements distinguishing my business from competitors. For instance, KFC and McDonald’s offer menus are filled with varieties of foods which are not all healthy. My business will be offering small variety, but all freshly made with vegetable and fruits and healthy ingredients. One thing also makes my business different is affordable price. The price and healthy food choice distinguish my business from my competitors.
In each business, there are risks that entrepreneurs will deal with. Competition is one challenge that most businesses under this realm face. Fast-food chains have highly increased and existing, as well as new businesses operating in this field, must deal with this challenge. There is also a risk of losing customers, especially when new companies offering new items and more affordable products are opened. Many businesses, especially during their infancy encounter the risk of low sales (McClanahan, 2020). Well, it is true because customers will be reluctant to make their first move unless the business comes up with marketing and advertising tactics.
One of the best tactics to get a business known is using social media and e-commerce. One of the best methods to leverage these techniques is through designing an app for the fast-food company and ensure it is available to anyone. The app will include the name of the fast-food business, the foods it majors in alongside the prices and delivery options (Wang et al., 2020). Also, the app will have details about the business’s location. With this app, any kind of person can learn about my business including the foods it offers and its location. Besides, many people are often using their gadgets and can use them to get this information.
